We are an interdisciplinary research group of professionals and scholars with abundant experience and relevant academic background in the fields of Psychology, Didactics and Technology. Our group is led and coordinated by Dr. Manoli Pifarré.
The group aims to internationalise its research and counts on permanent collaboration of researchers from universities in the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Turkey, Mexico and Pakistan.
COnTIC is a consolidated research group recognised by the Generalitat de Catalunya, based at the University of Lleida (UdL) and linked to the Department of Psychology of the UdL.
In innovative and creative environments, the term "Homo Connectus" acts as a metaphor of the impact of technology on human thinking. Thus, interactive technologies bring forward the human mind and promote new ways of thinking and acting.
The COnTIC group investigates how the dialogic use of interactive technologies in the classroom can transform the way we learn and teach and, by so doing, develop interconnected minds capable of responding to social challenges in an innovative and co-creative way.
In order to achieve this educational challenge, the main activities of the group are:
- Studying the learning process.
- Promoting collaboration and co-creation with technology in small working groups.
- Designing innovative and co-creative educational materials using technology.
